I've been working as a freelance photographer since a tentative start at a burlesque event in 2013. I've done a lot of work in the LGBTQIA community in Bristol. I really love working with performance artists, musicians and club promoters. I enjoy documenting the event, catching all the magic little moments, capturing the mood. I've learned so much along the way from generous photographers, amazing artists and a lot of practice.

TESTIMONIALS

I am just going through some show pictures that Von took last year. They immediately evoke the excitement and atmosphere of the night, I can almost smell the glitter cannons... Von is everything you'd want from a photographer. She is friendly, efficient, and seems to have an innate understanding of the live event; whatever it might be! I can't recommend her highly enough.

Von has photographed a number of our parties. She has always been a joy to work with. She has a great skill in being friendly and laid back to gain the confidence of our performers to be able to really capture the multitude of acts that are usually going on in a night. She has a real eye for detail and an amazing ability to document our parties, often in difficult lighting conditions and a fog of smoke, I hope we can work together again

I was pleased to ask Von to get involved with Time To Talk Day 2016.
I felt she was a perfect fit for the sort of photography we wanted on the day, a combination of laid back, casual capturing the spirit of the day alongside more formal portrait shots of our distinguished guests. With her awareness of the complexities of the project and friendly approach, Von delivered Time to Change an excellent set of photographs that have been widely used in social media campaigns and other organisations.
I look forward to working with her again in the future on many more projects
